About

Jeanine Amorette is a screenwriter and filmmaker with an interest in historical fiction. It was her grandmother who started her on her writing journey cultivating her creativity by hiring an English major for extra tutoring. Shakespeare’s work, also, inspired Jeanine's passionate desire to write. When she discovered her love for history, she began crafting fictional characters within historical scenarios.

Following her family's tradition, she joined the U.S. Navy and was stationed in Lemoore, CA. While serving as a Plane Captain on the USS Abraham Lincoln, Jeanine studied diligently with ship photographers, developing a keen eye for photographic composition. During her travels, she experienced different personalities and cultures in various parts of the world that she now incorporates into her storytelling.

Honorably discharged, Jeanine continued her journey in the arts with Film and Video Communication Studies and enrolled in the Creative Writing for Entertainment BFA program at Full Sail University. She graduated in November 2015, and is now armed with a greater knowledge of visual storytelling. Jeanine is currently writing a screenplay titled Constantinople, set in the world of the Eastern Roman Empire.
